Blogger Tricks - We quoted this article from the Indonesian Blogger discussion forum (Computer Angel Forum) - Well... Maybe many friends are asking why so many blogs have been deleted by Google lately. There are around hundreds of blogs or even thousands of blogs that have become victims of this strange phenomenon. Yes, blogspot platform users like me have been quite anxious over the past month, because the intensity of the blogspot deletion has not subsided at all.
Even blogs with their own domains are deleted, so what actually causes this deletion? Will bloggers only delete blogs that are indicated as spam? So what is the basis for assessing whether a blog is in the spam category so that it is deleted by Google? Here are the points below.
11 Reasons Google Deletes a Blog
1 Google Deletes Blogs for Conducting Affiliate Marketing
What is meant by affiliate marketing is a system where you are paid if you sell goods or services from an affiliate network. Lots of bloggers are trying affiliate online businesses like this. Unfortunately, this violates Google's basic rules if the link provided is dofollow.
Is there a way to still do affiliate marketing? It seems there is, because I have read a statement from Google itself, that they will not mind affiliate businesses as long as the links from affiliate marketing blogs are nofollow and not dofollow. So just try changing the nature of the link as a precaution.
2 Google deletes a blog if it diverts traffic to another website/blog.
This traffic diversion can be done with a meta refresh, and Google considers this to be "tricking" blog visitors. So you should be careful when using various diversion techniques, because you might be considered cheating.
The safe redirect method is a permanent 301 redirect. Unfortunately, the 301 method cannot be applied between blogspots, let alone other websites. It can only be used between pages.
Reason #3 Google will delete blogs that display paid advertisements for adult content.
In the middle of 2013, Google became more strict with blogs that display adult content. There have been many cases of blogs being deleted just because they advertise content 18 years and over. I myself don't know whether only pornographic material is meant, or whether husband and wife products are also included if the banner displays pornography.
4 Blogs Deleted If They Use Scripts to Create Content Instead of Hand Typing
Nowadays there are more and more blogs with automated content, the quality of which is very low. Google considers that these low quality pages can affect the search results presented to searchers, so it feels it is necessary to limit automated blogs like this. Apart from reducing the quality of search results, blogs like this create duplicate content, so that sometimes on one page there are 2-3 results that actually contain the exact same material.
5 Google Removes Blogs That Reference Account Hacking or Password Sharing.
As we know, more and more blogs also contain material containing passwords or how to hack accounts on premium sites that can only be accessed by those who pay. Google also tries to combat things like this because it respects the intellectual rights of other website system makers.
6 Google Deletes Blogs That Spread Methods of Cracking Copyrighted Software.
The reason is the same as point 5 above, namely respecting other people's intellectual rights. If friends don't understand the language above, then let's just simplify it to PIRACY.
Google really does not support any piracy activities in its products, because this is directly related to the company's responsibility in the legal system in America. So if you want to create a blog containing pirated stuff... Don't use Blogspot, because if you find it you can delete it...
7 Google Deletes Blogs with Referral Activities (People Looking for People)
Whether it's the GET PAID TO... or MLM program, or money-making project instant, PTC, PTS, and so on do not get support from Google. Commercial blogs that are referrals like this should use a platform other than blogspot, because blogger TOS does not approve content like this....
8 Bloggers Deleting Blogs That Adapt Content From Other Websites or Blogs.
This means that this is an automated content blog too. But the published content does not come from scripts, but taps RSS feeds from other blogs. We usually call it autoblog. Whether the content is copyrighted or not, Google still does not tolerate blogs like this.
9 Google Deletes Blogs That Violate Copyright Copyright
here is not just an article, you know. Images, videos, software, audio and so on that are distributed via blogs without the permission of the copyright owner are at risk of receiving complaints which if received by Google DMCA takedown will result in deletion.
10 Great Blogs with Mixed Unfocused and Unrelated Content.
I really just found out about this one which violates TOS, because currently there are many blogs with a news blog theme that have very diverse labels. The last few years Bloggerdoesn't seem to mind blogs like this. But after these blogs became big, one by one these blogs were deleted. The biggest hodgepodge blogspot affected by the blogger sweep is terselubung.blogspot.com with an Alexa rank of 15,000.
The large traffic and positive signals from visitors don't seem to influence Google's decision, because very few of these mixed blogs are back online... This is actually the most surprising reason for me of all the other reasons.... Maybe I still have to look for a further explanation regarding the reasons why Google doesn't approve blogs like this.
11 Google Removes Illegal Downloading, Streaming and Torrents Blogs.
I don't think I need to explain this point at length, because friends already know what is meant by illegal downloading, streaming and torrents. So, if your blog has content like this, it's a good idea to put it in order first before Google takes action... But if all the content is like that, what can you do... Just hope it escapes the blogger's bullets ...
ANTICIPATE BEFORE THE BLOG IS DELETED BY GOOGLE
Backup Post Data
Once again, this is emphasized more especially for blogger platform users , because it is like we are freeloading, and using free facilities. If at any time we are rude, the host has the right to evict us. Even though we have our own custom domain name (.com .net .org etc.) we still use hosting from Blogspot.
To anticipate this, if at any time the blog is deleted by Google, we can back up our blog posts. The way to do this is to go to settings > select the Other/Other sub menu > Export Blog. Then download the blog, finally save it on your hard disk storage.
But this is only to save the blog post, the blog name and URL will still be deleted, automatically all the backlinks we got will also be lost. It would be a very shame if we had built a blog for years, and it just disappeared and was deleted by Google. Even though the number of visitor traffic has increased.
Many bloggers are flocking to move their blogs to self-hosting, with the excuse of avoiding mass blog deletions. That way you will be calmer, even if you have to spend a little money to rent hosting. But for professional bloggers, this step is very appropriate.
THIS BLOG WAS DELETED BY GOOGLE!
Yes... This blog was deleted by Google 3 (three) times, the reason was because this blog was suspected of "Copy Pasting" or publishing other people's articles! The Admin does not deny the accusation, but for some reason after being investigated by Google, this blog was reactivated, because it was considered useful for many people, and the Admin also still included the original source (link) from the article creator even though he only copied part of the article.
So, if you want to copy this article with the aim of increasing your knowledge, then the admin is happy to welcome you, without including a link to this blog too, the Admin doesn't mind it at all.
